I am trying to find books or articles on the ways that mothers and fathers discipline children differently.

I want to know if mother or father-only raised children are more or less likely to exhibit aggressive behaviors as teens.

Answer

I recommend that you conduct a keyword search in LibSearch.  LibSearch is a library research tool that allows you to search for articles, books, and more from a single search box.  You can find LibSearch in the center of the library's homepage at: https://www.uhd.edu/library/Pages/library-index.aspx.  Try some of the following keyword searches:

"mother-child relations" AND discipline AND aggression

"father-child relations" AND discipline AND aggression

discipline styles AND mothers & fathers

paternal discipline AND child aggression

maternal disciple AND child aggression

To create a more manageable list of results, use the options under Refine Results on the left-hand side of the page.  You can limit your results by: Full Text, Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals, Publication Date, Source Type, Campus, and more.
