I am looking for scholarly articles regarding work and family life balance to avoid overwhelming expectations and unsatisfactory marriage for women.

For example the overload on being a supermom, what are some options that can help ease the burden placed on women today? Example having day cares at the workplace or work from home for moms.

I suggest you start your research with one of the databases listed on our Gender Studies Research Guide. To get there from the Library homepage https://www.uhd.edu/library/Pages/library-index.aspx choose the RESEARCH GUIDES tab. Then choose Guides by Subject >>> Gender Studies >>> Gender Studies. Choose a database, such as Gender Studies Database. Once in the database, look for check boxes to limit your results to Scholarly or Peer Reviewed Journals. You may also want to check the box for Full Text. Here are some suggested keywords for your topic. Choose one or more keyword phrases to enter into the search boxes.

family relations

work and family

work-life balance

women employees

working mothers

child care

Once on the results page, you may want to limit your results further using the options in the left column, such as Publication Date. If you do several searches and aren't finding what you need, go back to the Gender Studies Research Guide and try another database.
