Books:
To find a book for your Texas history assignment, I suggest you access the catalog. Go to the Library's homepage at https://www.uhd.edu/library/Pages/library-index.aspx and select the CATALOG tab>> Advanced Search>> change "Any Field" to "Subject">> type Texas history in the search box and click SEARCH. On the next screen you will see a long result list. You may want to limit your search to the UHD library under Location on the left, if you do not have time to request books from other campuses. In your result list you will see books that are physically located in the Library (5th floor) and ebooks that you can access Online from anywhere. You can find more information on e-books here.
Book Reviews:
To find book reviews, use the library's LibSearch tool, which is the search box in the middle of the Library homepage. Search for the title of your book with quotation marks around it. On the results screen, look at the "Refine Your Results" options in the left column. Under "Filter by Source Type," check the box next to "Book Review." To get the full-text of a book review, click on the title or the "Full Text" link.
