I am looking for information on the top 5 countries to import/export goods and services into/from the U.S.
Answer
The Country Index on https://www.census.gov/foreign-trade/statistics/country/index.html list the dollar amounts in Goods imported and exported by country.
Try also looking at the top trading partners
I also looked under the heading in the center of the page "Product and Partner Country", and then "End Use". I clicked on the either Imports or Exports, and then scrolled through the list to find the country. This report has specific products. These numbers go back to 2004.
The library guide for Statistics and Data has several resources with information about foreign trade (Statistical Abstract of the United States for example), but the information I found was very similar to that on the Census Bureau website.
