I'm looking for information on typology related to violence against women.

I have to create an educational social science pamphlet on the various typologies of violence against women to educate the public.

Answer

If you need to do typologies of the different kinds of violence against women, this website from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services might help you get started by providing classifications of various types of violence:
http://www.womenshealth.gov/violence-against-women/types-of-violence/

Next, try our criminal justice databases page:

(1) Go to https://www.uhd.edu/library/Pages/library-index.aspx.
(2) Choose the Research Guides tab;
(3) Choose Guides by Subject;
(4) Choose Criminal Justice.

For general background information on any of the topics listed at womenshealth.gov website, try the Gale Virtual Reference Library or Credo Reference databases. You can find them under the Databases tab  In each each database, you could search for "dating violence" and get a general overview of that topic.  Then you could search "human trafficking" for an overview of that topic.

For research studies on these topics, try the psychology databases found in our Psychology research guide.

These searches might help you find relevant results:

"violence against women" N3 types
"violence against women" AND typology
"violence against women" AND typologies
"violence against women" AND taxonomies
"violence against women" AND classification
batterers AND typology
batterers AND typologies
batterers AND taxonomies
batterers AND classification
"domestic violence" AND typology

I hope some of these strategies work for you.
