Q. I am a UHD student, and I need a book from the UH Library. Can I get the book sent to UHD, or do I need to go there to check it out?

Answer

You can go to the UH Library and check out the book with your UHD student ID, or you can request that the book be sent to the UHD Library Circulation Desk (the 5th floor of the One Main building).

To request the book, use the request option in the Library Catalog to get the book delivered to the UHD Library Circulation Desk:

    1. Search for the book you want.
    2. Click the title to display the book record.
    3. Click the request button at the top of the screen.
    4. Fill in the form with your name and 900# and then click the submit button.

You will be notified by email when the book is ready to pick up. Books are usually delivered to the Circulation Desk within 5 business days. If the book is checked out to another person, the book will be delivered after the previous borrower returns it.
