Q. How do I access my Library account online?

I want to log in to check the due dates of the books I have out and to see if I have any fines.

Answer

You can use your online library account to view checked-out books, renew books, save searches, rate items, view your account profile, view andcancel holds, view fines, and view saved item lists.

To log in to your library account:

  1. Go to the library’s homepage at www.uhd.edu/library.
  2. Find the link titled “My Library Account” under Services.
  3. This link takes you to a log in screen asking for your first or last name and your library barcode #. Your barcode # is your student ID (Gator Card) 900#.

You can also log in to your library account from within in the library catalog:

  1. From the Library Catalog, you'll find a link to "My Account" under the "My Library" link in the upper right corner.
  2. You will be asked to enter your name (first or last) and your Library Barcode number, which is your 900 number.

If you have problems logging in, please call the Circulation Desk at 713-221-8186. We can help you trouble shoot the problem and check your account over the phone if need be.
