Searching for “Gilgamesh” and “warrior culture” does not seem to turn up much, but I was able to find a few things that look like they might be helpful to you. First, access the English Literature research guide: library's homepage>>Databases>>Guides by Subject>>English>>English Literature.
I started searching in the MLA International Bibliography (found under the Databases tab), and my initial search for “Gilgamesh” and “warrior culture” returned one result — but it looks helpful.
In JSTOR, searching for “Gilgamesh” and “epic warrior” returns several hits on the first page of results that look promising. “Epic hero” is another good term to try instead of “epic warrior.”
