How can I confirm if an article is peer-reviewed?

Answer

Many of the library's databases have an option to search only peer-reviewed journals. Look for a checkbox that says Peer-reviewed, Scholarly, or Academic Journals/Articles.

Also, the library website has a page with a checklist that will help you determine whether an article is peer-reviewed.  It is at  https://www.uhd.edu/library/help/Pages/research-index.aspxl

The section titled "Scholarly Journals vs. Popular Magazines"  includes a checklist of things to look for to identify a peer-reviewed (or "scholarly") article.
