It may help to start with our Terrorism and Homeland Security research guide page at http://library.uhd.edu/terrorism. From there you may want to start with the “Political Science Complete” database.
These searches might work:
terrorism AND middle east
terrorism AND middle east AND government sponsorship
terrorism AND middle east AND government funding
You could also replace “middle east” with the name of any individual country.
The same searches will work in any of the databases listed on the “Terrorism and Homeland Security” research guide.
For reports on terrorist activities in each country, see the annual United States government publication “Country Reports on Terrorism” at http://www.state.gov/j/ct/rls/crt/ . Choose the year, then choose the chapter “Country Reports: Middle East and North Africa.” The chapter has a summary of terrorism intelligence for each country during the previous year.
