Where can I find information on a company culture?

Answer

Company culture is not always the easiest to research, and the amount of information available widely varies from company to company.

One way to start research on a company's culture is to have a look at their website. Often in an "About Us" section, they'll address what their values are, and sometimes what types of employees they like to have working with them.

Another way to find information about a company's culture is to see what has been published about it in varying magazines, trade journals, and scholarly journals. You can find some of the more business focused databases to help you start searching for these on your Business Research Guide.

From the main page of the Business Cornerstone Research Guide, in the middle, you will see a list of databases. I would suggest searching both of the first two links (ABI/INFORM Complete and Business Source Complete).

In both of these, try searches such as

Company Name AND culture

Company Name AND corporate culture

Company Name AND values

Replacing "Company Name" with the name of your chosen company.
