Q. I am having trouble registering for classes. Please help.
Library staff, with the help of the Registrar's office, came up with the following registration troubleshooting list:
- Holds on the account: Please see the the Admission and Enrollment Status page and follow the instructions to check or resolve any student holds that may exist.
- You may only register for classes that were approved for you by your Advisor.
- Error message: You must read carefully as it should explain the nature of the problem. Example: sometimes a special approval is required on top of the existing approval.
- Class is open, but you cannot register: There is a one hour lag between the moment the class fills up and the status shows as “CLOSED” online.
