You'll find a number of databases recommended for finding articles within the anthropology field as well as books and encyclopedias in the field as well. As another jumping-off point, you might also consider using our LibSearch service (it's the search box on the library's home page, as well as on the front page of the Anthropology research guide) which will search through the library's catalog as well as a number of our databases.
As far as searching for materials to support your topic, some keywords you might consider using in your search are:
"oral tradition" and "impact of technology"
You could add in additional keywords for the different cultures you wish to include in your searching.
