Information system technology, management structure, and IT strategy used (or planned) in the U.S. healthcare industry.

I am writing a research paper for my course.

Answer

Your question may take a little bit of time to research as it's not generic straightforward industry information. Doing a little bit of research I have found some promising articles in a couple of our Business databases.

To get started, we'll want to get to the Business Research Guide, which can be found from the library homepage, selecting the tab for Research Guides selecting Business from the options provided, and then again selecting Business when a list of varying business topics is provided. This takes you to a page full of great business resources to get you started for most business research topics.

From this Guide, you'll see a list of databases in the middle of the page. These are the suggested databases to get started with. I found some great articles on your topic using the first two on the list: ABI/INFORM Complete and Business Source Complete.

In both of these, I was successful with searches such as these:

Healthcare AND Information systems technology

Healthcare AND management structure

Healthcare AND information technology AND strategy

Play around with your words. The AND in each search is important. Make sure you include it as it helps the system know that you are searching for two different phrases but in the same results.
