Q. How can I find a list of clients of a software company I'm researching?

Answer

I suggest you begin with a database called Mergent Horizon. To find it, begin at the Library homepage https://www.uhd.edu/library/Pages/library-index.aspx. Click on the DATABASES tab in the middle of the screen >>> choose "M" >>> choose Mergent Horizon.

Once in Mergent Horizon, search for your company in the search box in the upper left corner of the screen. An overview page for your company will come up. To find a list of customers, click on the "Customers" link in the left column. Just above the list of customers that appears, you will see options to filter the list, such as Product Hierarchy, Location, and Index Exposure.

Another option is to search for press releases documenting company news. Choose ABI/INFORM Complete from "A" on the DATABASES tab. Enter your company into the first search box. In the next box you can enter another search term, like "client," "customer," or a geographic location, like "korea." On the results screen, you can narrow your search to "Wire Feeds" under "Source type" in the right column.
