Q. I'm looking for Spanish story books for first to fourth school graders. Where can I find them?

Answer

You can search for Spanish children's books from the advanced search page in the library online catalog. Start at the library home page at https://www.uhd.edu/library/Pages/library-index.aspx.  From the search box in the center of the screen, click the tab marked CATALOG, then the link in the box for Advanced Search Screen.  You can use the "Add Limits" box to limit your search to 1) Location: Limit to UHD 2) Sub-Collection: Juvenile and 3) Language: Spanish.  In the search box, you can type search terms to find something on a specific topic, or to get a list of everything to browse through, do a "wildcard" search by typing an asterisk "*" (shift + 8) in the search box.

Alternately, the Spanish Children's books are shelved all together at the front of the juvenile collection in the library on the 5th floor South.  You can come in and browse through the titles to find story books.  If you have any trouble finding the children's books, just ask at the service desk at the front of the library.
