I have a research paper and I need information/articles on the Crime stoppers of Houston organization.

Answer

You may find the Libsearch tool on the library homepage useful.  From the search box in the center of the library home page, I entered the term "crime stoppers of Houston" and clicked search.

A good source for information about local organizations is the Houston Chronicle.  To access the full content (the website chron.com does not necessarily have full content) check out the database Houston Chronicle (from Newsbank). Start at the library homepage, from the search box in the center of the  screen, click on the tab for DATABASES, then "H", then scroll down to find the Houston Chronicle.

When searching, I don't recommend searching All Text.  Many stories suggest that you call Crime Stoppers, but are not necessarily about the organization, but about a particular crime. Try changing the drop down menu from All Text to Headline for a more specific search.

You can also search for general information about the Crime Stoppers organization in our Criminal Justice databases. Check out our library guide for Criminal Justice here, and then select one of the recommended databases.

The Crime Stoppers of Houston website will have information about Crime Stoppers of Houston.
