How do I look up if the library has a particular movie?

Answer

You can search the library catalog for films. On the library homepage http://www.uhd.edu/library/ select the dark gray CATALOG tab>>Advanced Search. Type the film title and choose Title from the Any field drop-down menu. On the next screen look for Resource Type on the left and select Video. In addition, under Location select UHD Media Collection to make sure we have it in the library.

This will bring up films the library owns in any format (online, DVD, VHS, etc.)

You are able to request DVDs from other UH System libraries as long as they are part of General Collections (access the DVD record in the catalog and check the information under LOCATION).

To request a DVD/book, see instructions here. Scroll down to Requesting Items.
