For help in finding essays and criticism on literature try using our Literature Research Guide. From this guide, click on the tab for Literature Reviews and Criticism. This page has a collection of resources for finding essays, reviews, and criticism on literature.
I recommend starting with Gale Literary Sources. Once in the database, find the link for Advanced Search form the tool bar at the top of the page. Here you can search multiple fields so you can search the author and the name of the work. In the first search box, type in the name Kosinski and then change the drop down index menu to the left of the search box to "Person-By or About". In the next search box, type in Being There and the change the drop down index to "Name of Work.
On the results page, the tabs at the top will tell you what kind of resources are available (criticism, biographies, reviews, etc).
The searching in other databases listed on the research guide will be similar.
