Q. Where can I go to find information about the cultural environment of Cambodia and the types of workers that are there?
The library has a guide to information resources on countries. To get to it, go to the library's home page. Then select the blue tab above the Libsearch search box that says Research Guides. Click on the Business link, then select "International Business" from the list of guides that comes up. Once you're in there, select the Country Resources tab. The direct link to this page is http://library.uhd.edu/internationalbusiness
CountryWatch is a database listed on that page. Go into it. Once you’re at Country Watch, click on "Select a Country." Then select Cambodia. There you’ll see several headings such as Country overview, Political overview, Economic Overview, Investment Overview, and Social Overview etc. Your best bet would probably be to look at the headings under Social overview. You’ll find some of the answers to your questions under: people, Life Satisfaction Index, culture and art, and cultural etiquette.
Another database you may want to search is called Global Road Warrior, which is also linked on the Country Resources page you used above. Once you're in the database, you can choose Cambodia from the "Select a Country" drop-down menu. Then in the Cambodia profile, use the links on the left to find all sorts of cultural information on the country. The "Society & Culture" link may be particularly helpful.
Other possibly useful resources on the country page are CIA World Factbook, which gives statistics, and Country Reports on Human Rights Practices, which tells you some about labor and human rights issues.
