Q. I am doing my first case analysis in the MBA program. Please refer me to a scholarly business dictionary and tips on APA writing style.

Answer

On the library homepage, you’ll find a search box in the middle of the screen.  Click on the tab  labeled “CATALOG”.  Below the search box, locate and click “Advanced Search Screen”.  This will take you to the advanced search features for our library catalog.  I would recommend searching “Business Dictionary” in the search box.  If you are looking for something online, I would recommend limiting the material type to “EBOOK.”  Doing this, I found 62 ebooks.

For help with APA, I would recommend starting on the library’s citations page: https://www.uhd.edu/library/help/Pages/citingwriting.aspx

There are several sources that provide quick references and examples.  You can also try searching the catalog using the steps I provided above.  I found a few books by using “APA” as my search term and limiting it to ebooks.  The library does have copies of the APA handbook that can be used in the library.  To access those, just ask the librarian at the 4th floor reference desk.
