On the library homepage, do I go to the Journals tab or the Databases tab to search for articles for my paper?

Answer

If you know the exact title of the journal, magazine, or newspaper you want to browse, use the JOURNALS tab to find options for locating that particular publication.  If you want to search for articles by subject or author, use the DATABASES tab. You will be directed to an alphabetical list of databases, or you can click on the "Databases by Subject" or the "Databases by Format" links.

If you're still not sure where to begin, try the LibSearch tool, the search box in the middle of the library homepage. LibSearch searches most of the databases and the library catalog at the same time.
