Q. Can you help me find articles about the book "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks?"

Answer

I recommend you start your search with LibSearch. It is the search tool
in the blue box in the middle of the Library homepage
http://www.uhd.edu/library/. Type in: immortal life of henrietta lacks.

On the left side of the Results screen you will see a column that says Refine Your Search. I recommend you click the first two check boxes: "Items with full text online" and "Limit to articles from scholarly publications, including peer-review."

Toward the bottom of the left column you'll see a section called "Subject Terms." Click on the "more" link under the terms listed. In the list that pops up you can use the check boxes to include terms you find interesting. This is a good way to narrow down your search and get ideas for how you want to focus your paper topic. You might also want to use the LibSearch tool to search for topics about this book, depending on what you want to write about. For instance, you could try search terms like: HeLa cells Bioethics Civil rights Patient rights
