When I type in "Google in China" it pulls up over 5000 results.

There are going to be a lot of results because Google in China has been a pretty big news item, especially the first half of 2010, when they ended up withdrawing the search engine from there. However you can still narrow down some.
Go to Business Source Complete, which is listed on the International Business Guide. Copy and paste the following search:
china AND CO google
That will get you articles that have Google as a more major focus. You will still get over 450, but you can just look at the first, more relevant ones, or you can change the order the results are displayed in to view the most current ones. You do this by clicking on the "Relevance Sort" link on the blue bar above the results. Then click on "Date Descending" to get the results with the most recent articles first.
