Q. I am doing a feasibility report on dropout rates in HISD.

I need help getting started on my research and some help on how to write a feasibility report.

Answer

You can find statistics about education on our Education Library Guide located here: http://library.uhd.edu/Education. Once you go to this page, click on the blue “Educational Statistics” tab located at the top. You’ll notice that there is a box in the left column labeled “Schools and School Districts.” You should be able to find information about HISD graduation rates at several of these websites.

You might also want to check out the Texas Education Agency Dropout Recovery Pilot Program: http://www.tea.state.tx.us/index3.aspx?id=3686

The library has an e-book that may help you with how to write a feasibility report. You can look at the table of contents to find the sections about feasibility reports.
