There are two good beginning points for your research question. First, we have LibSearch to search most of the library's databases as once. LibSearch is the search box in the middle of the library homepage http://www.uhd.edu/library/. Look up terms such as 'childcare enrollment' and 'childcare marketing' and similar related terms using LibSearch. Try limiting the date range to something current - 1995 to present, 2000 to present, etc. You should also restrict it to certain types of resources (see options to the left of the search results). Journals, books, and e-books would be good, and possibly newspapers once you've looked over the other resources. I was able to find many resources related to your topic this way.
We also have several Libguides that you can use for this topic. Our Business Marketing guide is directly applicable to your topic, at http://library.uhd.edu/marketing. Try using the databases listed within the guide and look up childcare marketing. For enrollment statistics and area growth in children, you might want to look at the Texas Education Agency website, http://tea.texas.gov/. Alternatively, and probably better for your topic, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, http://www.dfps.state.tx.us/. Or even http://www.workforcesolutionschildcare.com/ccaa/, which is a government agency even though it doesn't have a .gov address.
All three of the websites I've listed are State of Texas agencies, which make them credible sources. Finding specific statistics may prove more difficult, and you may want to contact the agencies by email to get the best information directly from them on how to use their resources.
