I am looking for information on what it costs to add more online classes to the curriculum?

Answer

You might want to take a look at the UHD Fact Book. There is a section that lists what percentage of students take online/in person classes. This might be nice supplemental information.

You might also search some of our databases to get an overview of the cost effectiveness of online courses in general. This would give you an idea of some of the different costs involved when offering online courses. To find information about cost effectiveness of online courses I recommend going to the library webpage www.uhd.edu/library. Click on the Research Guides tab>>Guides by Subject>>Education>>Higher Education. When I searched the ERIC database, I found numerous articles using the search terms “online course” in the first box and “cost effectiveness” in the second box.
