Q. I am trying to put together an argumentative speech on the following topic: Men should be breadwinners and women should be homemakers.

Answer

1. Go to http://www.uhd.edu/library/.
2. Choose the Databases tab in the middle of the screen.
3. There are several databases you can use for this topic. Try “Academic Search Complete” or “Opposing Viewpoints Research Center”.
4. Enter your search phrase. I had some success with “Gender inequality”, “gender equality”, “sex discrimination”, or “sexual division of labor” (using quotation marks). You can use these terms alone or together.
5. Begin the search.
