Q. How can I find information on hackers and accounting information systems?
If you are looking for anything about accounting, including relating hacking to accounting information, then a good database for that would be Accounting & Tax. You can find it by going to the library home page at http://www.uhd.edu/library, selecting “Databases by Subject' under the "Databases" tab. Then pick “Accounting & Tax” from the list of subjects, and select the Accounting & Tax Database under "Accounting Research Databases." Copy and paste the following searches:
(accounting information system) AND (hacker) AND (small business)
(hackers) And (accounting)
(intrusion detection systems) AND (hackers)
(computer hackers) AND (security systems).
You may also want to try "ABI/Inform" and "Business Source Complete," which are also listed there.
This will get you some articles on your topic. If you need more about the background of hackers, you may want to try criminal justice and psychology databases, which will be listed under the “Databases by Subject” section.
