I e-mailed several articles from the database and did not recieve them, is there any way to review my searches?
It’s very possible your email service viewed the e-mails as spam and may have put them in a junk email folder. If you have not already looked in your junk or spam folder, please do so.
Unfortunately, we don’t manage the email services for databases, and we also don’t have any information or records about who accessed or requested specific articles from any given database.
If you did the searches from home, it’s possible the search terms you used may still be in your internet browser’s cache, meaning that some of the words and phrases you entered may still be stored and will appear if you start typing the beginning of these words and phrases. If you were using a public computer or one in the library, this will not be an option, though.
It’s also possible that if you entered your email address incorrectly at all — even just one character extra or missing — this would prevent you from receiving email from the database. If you send things from a database in the future, be very careful when entering your email address and double check that it is correct.
One solution to this in the future is to download or save the article to a file on the computer you’re using, then open your email program or web site and attach the file you saved directly to the message. Then send it to yourself. You will be able to see it appear immediately in your inbox this way, and you will know you have it.
